About Cut Maker

A free tool that checks whether your dialogue fits AI video clips, before you spend credits.

Why it exists

AI video models like Seedance and Kling generate clips of fixed lengths. When a line is too long, the character rushes it or gets cut off — and the credits are already spent. Cut Maker catches that before you generate.

What it does

Splits your script into cuts that fit your model's clip lengths.
Marks every cut as Fits, Tight or Over, and shows the credits at risk.
Builds ready-to-paste prompts, a shot list and SRT subtitles.
Suggests thumbnail hook text and offers free safe-zone layout guides.

Who makes it

Cut Maker is built by sans, a solo indie developer in Korea who also makes AI short dramas. It started as a personal tool for planning episodes, and grew from there.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. There's no sign-up and no AI call, and your script never leaves your device. Read the privacy policy.
